Refund policy

Return Policy

At Scentech, you have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of receiving your order without providing any reason. Once you notify us of your return, you have an additional 14 days to send the products back. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price including standard shipping costs. Return shipping costs are at our expense, unless otherwise stated.


General Return Conditions

  • Returned items must be complete and in their original condition.
  • Products should, where possible, be returned in the original packaging.
  • Missing parts or visible signs of use may result in a proportional reduction of the refund amount.

Product Use and Testing

You may inspect and test a product in the same way you would in a physical store. If use exceeds what is reasonably necessary to assess the product, we reserve the right to apply a proportional reduction in the refund amount.

Smart Aroma Diffuser

You may briefly test one diffuser to assess whether it meets your expectations. Intensive or prolonged use — such as daily use over multiple days or weeks — is considered excessive use. In such cases, we will apply a reduction to the refund amount, up to the full purchase price of the product.

ScentPods

ScentPods are delivered sealed. You may open a ScentPod and smell it at the opening without placing it in the device — this is sufficient to evaluate the scent.

If you wish to test a diffuser with a ScentPod, you may use a maximum of one ScentPod, consuming no more than 10 ml. By breaking the seal and using the product, you agree that the right of withdrawal for that ScentPod is forfeited. An exception applies only to the first ScentPod in your order, provided consumption has been limited to a maximum of 10 ml.

Other opened or used ScentPods will not be accepted for return.

Orders with Multiple Diffusers or Scents

For orders containing multiple diffusers and/or ScentPods, only one diffuser and one ScentPod may be tested. All other products must remain unused and in their original condition.

Used products will be subject to a proportional reduction in refund. Unused products in original condition will be fully refunded.


Uncollected Packages

If your order is delivered to a pickup point, the 14-day withdrawal period begins on the day the package is made available for collection and you have been notified accordingly. Our extended 30-day return period does not apply to uncollected packages.

If the package is not collected within the pickup point's storage period, it will be automatically returned to us. You will be notified of this. From that point, as long as the withdrawal period has not yet expired, you have the following options:

  • Receive the order after all: we will reship the package for a €7.95 re-shipping fee.
  • Cancel the order: we will refund the purchase amount, minus €7.95 for the outbound shipping costs already incurred.

If the 14-day withdrawal period has expired without you having contacted us, the right of withdrawal is forfeited and a refund will no longer be possible. If you still wish to receive your order, please contact us at support@scentech.store. We will reship the package solely upon payment of the shipping costs. You will receive a confirmation email once the deadline has passed.


Exceptions to Returns

  • ScentPods whose seal has been broken and which have been used in a device (except as described above).
  • Products damaged due to improper use.

Refunds

Once we have received your withdrawal notice, we will process your refund within 14 days. We may delay the refund until we have received the returned product or you have provided proof of return shipment.

If a product has been used beyond what is permitted, a proportional reduction will be applied to the refund amount. You will be informed of this by email.
