What is cold-air diffusion?

Cold-air diffusion turns fragrance oil into an ultrafine, dry mist, without water, alcohol or heat. The particles spread like cordial in a glass of water, evenly into every corner and without residue. As long as the diffuser runs it keeps topping up the scent, so the number of scent particles stays at the set intensity: it smells equally strong everywhere, unlike candles, reed diffusers or ultrasonic diffusers that only work up close.

That way 95% of the oil ends up in the air, versus 30–40% with traditional diffusers: more even, more economical (50–80% less oil) and with precisely adjustable intensity.

Care

The diffuser is low-maintenance. An occasional clean keeps it at its best:

Remove the ScentPod and wipe the nozzle with a soft, dry cloth.

For a deeper clean, go over the nozzle with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol and let everything dry before refitting the ScentPod.

How does the diffuser work?
The Smart Aroma Diffuser 2 turns pure fragrance oil into a dry, fine mist with cold-air diffusion technology, without water and without heat. The mist spreads like cordial in a glass of water, evenly into every corner, and as long as the diffuser runs it keeps the number of scent particles in the air at the set intensity: it smells equally strong everywhere. You set intensity and times in the Scentech app or with the dial.
Is the diffuser wireless?
No, the Smart Aroma Diffuser 2 runs on the included power cord. Controlling it is wireless though: via the app or the dial on the device.
How large is the coverage?
Up to 65 m²: one device for a whole floor. The scent spreads evenly as long as the air can circulate. How strong it feels also depends on the scent itself and on your nose: with a subtle scent, simply go one setting up.
Does the diffuser make noise?
Hardly: ± 39.5 dB, whisper-quiet. You won't hear it at night in the bedroom either.
How do I fill the diffuser, and do the ScentPods 2.0 fit?
A ScentPod 2.0 clicks straight into the diffuser (Effortless Switch). A classic 50 ml ScentPod you pour into the included bottle. Keep the diffuser upright after filling.
How long does a ScentPod last?
On average 1 to 3 months. It depends on how many hours a day it runs and on the intensity: at 12 hours a day on a medium setting well over 2 months, on the highest setting 16 hours a day still a month.
Can I use other oils?
We advise against it. The diffuser is tuned to the viscosity of our fragrance oil; other oils can clog the nebuliser and are not covered by the warranty. Never use water or oils meant for a water-based diffuser.
How do I set intensity and schedules?
In the Scentech app (via Bluetooth) you choose the intensity and create schedules: fresh in the morning, soft in the evening and off when you're out. The dial on the device also works without the app. Note: there is another app called "Scent Tech"; download the official Scentech app.
Is it safe around children and pets?
Yes, with normal use. Our fragrance oil is concentrated, so in rooms with children or pets set the intensity a little lower, keep the diffuser out of their reach and air the room now and then, as with any scented product.
How much maintenance does it need?
Very little. With daily use, clean the nebuliser head about once a month with a dry cloth or a cotton swab with some alcohol (70%), never with water. You can switch scents any time: the old one doesn't have to be finished first.
What's in the box?
The diffuser, a 120 ml bottle with cap, the power adapter and the manual.
When will I receive it?
Order before 9:59 pm and we ship the same working day from the Netherlands; in the Netherlands and Belgium you usually have it the next day. Shipping is free. If a product is temporarily out of stock, you'll see the delivery date next to the buy button.
Can I return it if I don't like it?
Yes. You have 30 days after delivery and may test the diffuser briefly in that time. Returns are free; you get the full amount back once it arrives complete and in its original condition.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, we quickly arrange a solution via WhatsApp, chat or support@scentech.store.
Which scents are in the kit?
Four 50 ml ScentPods for every mood: Classic Charm (warm and timeless), Tea Whisper (delicate and fresh), Wild Blossom (bright and floral) and Pure Nirvana (serene). Each ScentPod lasts about 1 to 3 months.
It doesn't diffuse or the app won't connect. What now?
Check that it's switched on and has oil in it, that the nebuliser head is fitted properly and clean, and that Bluetooth is on on your phone. If that doesn't help, our help centre has a step-by-step guide per model, and we're there day and night on WhatsApp or chat.
